Before purchasing your ticket, you should review the health guidelines and entry requirements many event organizers and venues have adopted to ensure the safe return to live events. Below, you will find information regarding the latest COVID-19 event protocols.
What is a Health Check?
Health Checks are safety protocols event organizers and venues are using to help reduce attendee exposure to COVID-19. CLIVE does not set or control Health Check guidelines, which is why different events you see on our site may have different protocols. Specific requirements vary across venues and events, though some common measures may include, but are not limited to: proof of full vaccination (including boosters) against COVID-19, proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test result prior to entering the event, a rapid onsite COVID-19 test, or participating in a brief health questionnaire. Please check the websites or Facebook pages of the event organizers and venues for details.
Event organizers and venues may rely upon their local health departments and government guidelines to determine the need for a Health Check, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test. Check the website or Facebook page of the event organizer or venue for updates as protocols are subject to change. You may receive an email with revised entry requirements after the initial sale.
Will my first dose vaccination card be accepted at entry?
Most event organizers and venues requesting proof of full vaccination for entry require the last vaccination dose to be administered at least two weeks prior to the event date. Please check for updated requirements as the event date approaches.
You may be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test 48 to 72 hours prior to the event date, though timeframes may vary. You can also locate free testing in your area by using this helpful resource developed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
Who checks vaccination status or negative COVID-19 diagnostic test at the entry?
This process will differ from event to event.
CLIVE does not store or have access to information related to your Health Check. In some cases, the event organizer or venue may require that you use a third-party app like CLEAR to validate your identity in relation to your Health Check, in which case you would need to read their privacy policy for more information.
Yes. As the ticket purchaser, you certify all members of your party will follow the Health Check requirements specified.
If a member of our group is underage and therefore ineligible for vaccination, can that child still attend an event requiring vaccination?
Check your event page of your event organizer or venue for specific diagnostic requirements or entry protocols related to this age group. You can also locate free testing in your area by using this helpful resource developed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.
If I am ineligible for vaccination due to underlying health conditions, am I unable to attend an event requiring vaccination?
You may be asked to show a valid medical restriction or medical note and then take a COVID-19 diagnostic test and provide proof of a negative result prior to entry.
Event organizers and venues may make accommodations for fans with religious exemptions to attend their event if they provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test prior to entry.
Is there a specific type of COVID-19 diagnostic test required?
Many event organizers and venues require proof of either a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 diagnostic test.
Event organizers and venues, depending upon local health departments and government guidelines, may either require or encourage guests to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. For those events where masks are required, all attendees – regardless of vaccination status – will be expected to wear a mask at all times, except while actively eating or drinking. For events where masks are encouraged, all attendees – regardless of vaccination status – will be encouraged to wear a mask except while actively eating or drinking.
Yes. Most event organizers and venues require venue staff, vendors and concessionaires to follow the same onsite requirements as fans.
Each event organizer or venue sets its own guidelines as to issuing refunds. CLIVE does not set these guidelines, so please contact your event organizer or venue directly for their specific refund policy prior to purchase.
If refunds are available for your event, your refund request will be processed to the original method of payment used at time of purchase, once funds are received from the event organizer or venue, which is usually completed within 30 days.
