Multicultural Arts Exchange Presents: A Familiar Reflection

A Familiar Reflection is an immersive, interactive experience for guests to explore throughout their evening. Actors, dancers, singers, musicians will act as living clues to reveal specific information while guiding guests through the various activities found throughout the spaces. Multicultural artists will perform short sets throughout the event in different areas of the museum. It will culminate in the aerialist performing the act of the butterfly emerging from the cocoon, symbolizing the emergence of the Greater Northeast as a cultural destination for the City of Philadelphia.
Confirmed performers include:
- American History Theater (multiple impersonators)
- Kaitlin Chin – aerial silks performer
- Michael Shingo-Crawford – classically trained violinist, playing anime music
- Kelvin Wang – erhu (Chinese violin) player
- Ramaa Ramesh – traditional Indian dances
- Ballroom Empire – Latin American
- Museum of Interesting Things

Food and Drinks:
Guests will be able to purchase alcoholic beverages on-site throughout the event. Snacks and other small bites will be available.
Multicultural Arts Exchange (MAE), your community Exchange for World Culture. We produce, present, and promote unique programs that unite artists of different genres and people of various cultural backgrounds. We present musicians, dancers, singers, and theater actors that are fluently moving across traditional boundaries of genres, languages, and cultures creating unique art programs in the process. We strongly believe that art is the only universal language that everybody in the world could understand and appreciate.
Cancellations: This event may be changed, canceled or modified at MAE’s discretion at any time. Please note that this event is also subject to change should any new guidelines or restrictions be brought forth by the State of PA or the CDC. Refund policy: Contact the organizer to request a refund. Clive’s fee is nonrefundable.
In accordance with the the City of Philadelphia’s COVID-19 vaccine and mask requirement, Multicultural Arts Exchange’s COVID-19 Policy is as follows:
In accordance with local guidelines: Until further notice, masks are required to be worn at all times for attendees, regardless of vaccination status, except while actively eating or drinking. All staff are fully vaccinated and must wear masks while inside the venue.
VACCINES / TESTING
You, and anyone accompanying you in your party, are required to provide ONE of the following:
- Proof of your vaccination record (vaccination card or picture of your card with a matching ID card), demonstrating you were fully vaccinated at least two weeks in advance of the day of show.
- Proof of a negative COVID test, administered within 72 hours of the day of show, with matching ID card.
Valid ID Required for entry.
A negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 test will be accepted. Please be sure to bring printed or digital proof of your negative test result, dated and time-stamped. At-home COVID-19 test results will only be accepted if there is a link to results you can print or provide from a medical platform, dated and time-stamped.

ACCEPTABLE VACCINATIONS INCLUDE:
- Johnson & Johnson
- Vaccines authorized by the WHO (if vaccinated outside of the U.S.)
By purchasing a ticket you acknowledge you will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result. There will be no refunds for purchased tickets based on non-compliance of venue COVID-19 protocols, however, if you are unable to attend a show due to a positive Covid-19 test, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help facilitate a full refund.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the local health authorities, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting our venue, you voluntarily assume all risks related to the exposure to or spreading of COVID-19.
